ADD ME
Event Announements
7-10 days prior to each event you will receive an email with course and fee information. Be sure to note the sign up deadline!
Tee times and final pairings are emailed prior to the event. If you have a request (tee time or play with a certain person/group), please let the host know. We will do our best to accomodate your requests. However, you are not always guarenteed the slot you reserved. Sometimes adjustments have to be made!
What do I do if an event is full?
In golf herd, there will be a 'request
a tee time' option. Clicking on this button sends a note to the
communications officer letting them know you are interested in playing
in that event. This button does NOT automatically add another tee
time. It gets your name on the list should someone cancel or another
tee time is added. If enough people are on the waiting list, the host
tries to add another tee time if the course will allow it.
Be Patient!!
Many times the event is full until a week or so out. Then folks realize they can't play and start to cancel!
Game Day!
Please check in with the host 30 minutes prior to your tee time. You should be ready on the first tee box and ready to play 10 minutes prior to your tee time. If on the day of the event you are unable to attend or just running late, contact the host. Be aware--you may be responsible for the green fee if the course charges the league for your spot.
How to Sign Up for an Event!
MEMBER GUEST
The cost for a guest to play in an event is $5 more than the listed cost.

DGSA Cancellation Policy:
WEATHER: The course determines whether or not we play due to inclement weather. When in doubt call the host or the course. If you do not show up because of the weather and the
course did not cancel the event, we use the cancellation policy describe
below to determine if you must reimburse DSGA.
-If you need to cancel before the cut-off date, cancel your t-time using golf herd: (log on to the DSGA web site: choose 'sign up for an event'; choose 'member' and log in to the golf herd scheduling software; choose 'review or cancel your tee times').
- If you need to cancel after the cut-off date but before the day of the event, cancel your t-time using golf herd AND contact the host via phone or email. The host contact information is also found in golf via the 'display members list' option. It is still possible that you will be responsible for payment of the green fees (depending on if the course bills DSGA). If you are unable to reach the host, contact the board-designated communications officer as shown on the 'contact us' portion of the DSGA website via phone or email .
- If you have to cancel the day of the event, you must CALL the host to notify them.
- IF YOU DO NOT SHOW AND HAVE NOT CONTACTED the host prior to the event, DSGA will charge you for the green fee. Subsequently, you will have to reimburse DSGA for this green fee to remain in 'good standing' and be able to play in another event. Exceptions to this policy will only be made for dire emergencies and must be approved by the board.
- You will be required to pay in advance if you repeatedly cancel after the cut-off date.
- If you frequently arrive too late to tee off with your designated group, you may also be required to pay in advance. The board will handle this on a case-by-case basis.
- Please take the host contact info with you on route to event so you can call the host if you are running late the day of the event!!!
