Cancellation Policy

CANCELLATION POLICIES

IF YOU "NO SHOW " on the day of the event AND HAVE NOT CONTACTED the host  prior to the event, DSGA more than likely WILL charge you for the green fee.  Subsequently, you will have to reimburse DSGA for this green fee to remain in 'good standing' and be able to play in further events.  Exceptions to this 'noshow' policy will be made for personal emergencies and must be approved by the board.

- You will be required to pay in advance if you repeatedly cancel after the cut-off date.

- If you frequently arrive too late to tee off with your designated group, you may also be required to pay in advance.  The board will handle this on a case-by-case basis.

WEATHER: The course determines whether or not we play due to inclement weather.  When in doubt call the course.  If you do not show up because of the weather and the course did not cancel the event, your absence will be treated as a no show (see below).

EVENT CANCELLATION POLICIES:

-If you need to cancel on or before the cut-off date simply cancel your tee time using golf herd (dsgadallas.org/Members).  No additional communication is needed.

- If you must cancel after the cut-off date, also contact the host or a board member in addition to canceling your tee time.  Note - you MAY have to pay the green fee if the course charges DSGA for the unused tee time.  Usually, courses are fairly forgiving and they do not charge DSGA.

- If you have to cancel the day of the event, you must contact the host directly before the first tee time.  You may also have to pay the green fee for the same reason as mentioned above.
